Had Any One Experienced Any Side Effects From Immunotherapy That Involved A Visit To The Er?
YES YES YES.....ipi fried my pituitary gland.....

That's awesome!
Im not sure if I commented on side effects. I was on opdivo and yervoy for 9 treatments. I went from near death to cancer free by May 30, 2019. Side effects were many. In 2020 I was diagnosed with Guillaune Barre Syndrome. During my nine double treatments I lost 104 pounds. Fought dehydration. I haven't walked on my own since June 30, 2019. As of today and over 600 hours of physical therapy and fantastic medical care, I am back to 190 pounds from 130. I am in a wheelchair still. Opdivo and yervoy saved my life. The side effects are an annoyance and I have dealt with them. Bristol Meyers Squibb deserve the accolades. Better like I am than taking a dirt nap.
I would encourage anyone to continue!
Hi Karla,
Yes, my immunotherapy treatment caused me to have severe diarrhea and I was advised to go to the emergency room by my Oncologist. I ended up being diagnosed with Colitis, caused by my immunotherapy infusions. It set me back 10 weeks but I have recovered and am receiving treatment again.
update.....according to the CT scan report i developed a mass alongside my colon. By that i mean the CT report said it was an immo induced mass. it was begin but had to be removed anyway........so there I was with a resection of my colon due to immo.......not pleasant..about 5 week recovery
