ipi is a different drug from opvido...both are immo drugs

ipi has tons of side effects...some that show up after u discontinue their use....ipi sent me to the hospital and likely gonna send me back in september after last taken over a year ago

opvido, of which i have taken for 3 years has little to none side effects. at least for me. i originally took opvido only for a year without s single side effect...well except that the melanomas reoccurred in the same axial LN region

Hi Barb, I am on nivolumab and I have an autoimmune disorder (Lupus). I am doing infusion bi-weekly rather than the full dose every 28 days. Maybe that’s an option for yo?

Hi Tim, I was diagnosed with induced RA, went on steroids with some improvement, now on Methotrexate (DMARD) and improved. I'm restarting my nivolumab next week now that I am stable.
My doctors told me, and my research has confirmed that RA that occurs after having immunotherapy CAN sometimes go away, sometimes NOT.
I'm happy that your RA is gone.

Hi All, my most recent side effect while taking ipi is inflammatory arthritis..not Sure yet if it could be rheumatoid arthritis or something that will go away. Time will tell. I'm scheduled tobe on decreasing doses of steroids about a month

Either Opdivo or Yervoy, we'll never know which, knocked out at least part of my pituitary gland, so I have to take hydrocortisone pills and levothyroxine pills every day for the rest of my life.

And, I know one lady in Dallas, TX who lost her gut to those two immunotherapies, and one guy west of Fort Worth who got strong T2D from them, and another guy in Colorado who basically lost all his joints. He used to be a runner, and now it hurts him just to walk or sit down or stand up or lay down in bed and get up. Having said that, me and all three of those people believe the immunotherapies Opdivo and Yervoy have helped us stay alive.
