Jennifer, after my son had his 2nd infusion, things went sideways as far as side effects. If your husband experiences stomach distress, please tell the oncologist and get on meds. It can be treated, but it can also be very unpleasant.

Thank you for the tip! It's so hard to predict side effects and so far, Brian has felt okay, just extreme fatigue. We both had a bug of some kind after his first treatment with mild fever and stomach problems. Mine cleared up after a few days, his lasted 2 full weeks and he was tested for everything they could think of. Everything was negative so our best guess is his immune system was just too overwhelmed to fight off what we both had.
Can we expect each infusion to bring about more frequent and severe side effects?
