That a GP can tell whether your mole is melanoma. They can't. You need a dermatologist, and you need a biopsy. Insist on one if you're concerned.

Thank you Jim for sharing. It proves how much a beast melanoma can be. I had melanoma removed from my shoulder 3 years ago. Dr said good margins and even took lymph nodes from under my arm to be on the safe side. Been going to the dermatologist like clockwork ever since and nothing on my skin. Unfortunately the melanoma has spread to my spine and hip. Dr says there are spots on my liver, adrenal gland and left lung. We will continue to fight the fight with the help of friends, love ones and the support of good doctors and the folks here on our team.

That's the way Charlie, try your darndest to stay positive, and don't beat yourself up for a down day. We all have them, but just make sure to do your best at pulling yourself back up. Were all hear for you.
