Hi Emma, I am going to be restarting novimulab after pausing due to side effects from treatments on ipi/Nivo. I've been on steroids for about 3 weeks and am scheduled to have a immunotherapy treatment on Tuesday. I'll update my post on how things progress.

Hi Emma, Update: I AM restarting Immunotherapy after developing Inflammatory Arthritis from Immunotherapy. My arthritis is now being treated and I am feeling better, so I am restarting single drug nivolumab next Tuesday 19th Nov. Hoping all works out well. I will update you.

Thankyou I’d be grateful.
It’s a tough decision as for me last time the immunotherapy messed up my life for quite a long time. Hoping that if I start again I can be more prepared of what might happen and have immunosuppressants all ready for it.πŸ™ƒβ˜ΊοΈ

Yes, it is possible for someone to restart immunotherapy after stopping it due to severe side effects. However, this decision is typically made on a case-by-case basis by healthcare providers, considering the individual's overall health, the severity of the side effects experienced, and the potential benefits of resuming treatment. It's important to closely monitor for any recurrence of side effects and manage them promptly.

For more detailed information, you can refer to the resources provided by the American Cancer Society and Cancer.Net on immunotherapy and its side effects.
