Jim's Oncologist Stopped The Keytruda After 3 Treatments. Last 3 Days He Can't Finish A Meal Without Throwing Up & Confusion Is Increasing.
Anyone experience this? He is waiting for echo & new treatment of oral pills.
Linda as a caregiver, I'm sorry you are witnessing this. It is a side effect and can be very scary as you most likely wish you could wave a wand and make the effects disappear. I would mention it to his oncology team just to give yourself reassurance.
Vicki Thank you for your care and support. Jim is having a real hard time breathing when he walks now. He finally admitted he needs a walker and that he won't be getting better. He totally forgot how to spell bacon. Things seem to be getting worse fast. Doctor said to call whenever we need help.
How are you holding up LindaHeinicke? Is there anything any of us can do to help you?
Thank you Jennifer and to all who given me support. You are appreciated.
Linda, I'm so sorry Jim is having reactions to Keytruda! Hopefully the new tests will help guide his oncology team with a new treatment plan. Don't forget to take care of yourself while caring for Jim. It's an easy thing to overlook - I've been guilty myself - when you're worried about a loved one.
